Mapua Bowling Club 'Oldies' v 'Team Kids' 31 March 2019

Today witnessed what was to be one of the most refreshing, lively and fun afternoons seen at our club in many years. It was great fun but it was also very competitive with some thrilling bowls from all concerned. A winning team did emerge and that was the well seasoned mature members of the Club, which included a variety of very experienced club champs.

But, all credit on the day must go to the younger players who all dug in, played well, and made the 'oldies' work for their win. So heaps of praise goes to the very talented 'Kids' team of Mia, Finlay, Jesse, Giselle, Noah and Oliver. Forget the result guys, you were up against some good bowlers this afternoon so you should all go away very proud of yourselves. We hope you learnt a lot this afternoon, we wish you all well and would love to see you back on our green any time you can make it.

Loads of credit to 'Team Kids'  coach and mentor Sue for bringing the team together and providing some stiff opposition this afternoon. Bring it on next time!
