While not all articles relate to our Club they do have relevance to the way the Centre and bowls evolved or demonstrate attitudes and politics of the times.
The first Club in our area was the Paraparaumu Bowling Club but conditions of the time (maybe WW2) saw membership decline and it merged with our club in 1940.
PBBC was established at a meeting of interested parties in 1938 and the following year a green had been established and bowling commenced.
