Sempai Scott Young
Scott Young had his first karate Session as a Pre-schooler when his mother used to teach the Kiddies Karate Classes at Kilbirnie.
At the age of 6 he was graded 8th Kyu Yellow belt, then progressed slowly up the junior ranks until he made Junior 1st Kyu Brown belt in 2008.
After 4 years as a Junior 1st Kyu, he was successful in grading Junior Shodan on 25th February 2012.
Scott completed his secondary education at St Pat's College Town in 2013, then spent 4 years at Otago University graduating in 2018 with a B.Sc degree. He is now employed full-time in the Govt sector.
