A little bit about us:

Natasha Dierck: President, SNC Liason, Masters & Social Coordinator, Prize-giving Committee - I have been involved with Rolly netball on and off for the past 20 years.  This is my second year on the committee. This year I was lucky enough to be voted in as the new president. Over the years I have enjoyed playing competitive, masters and social netball. Outside of netball I am a self-employed hairdresser at a local salon Rolleston hair and beauty. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family and friends.  I am looking forward to my new role this netball season and look forward to seeing all of our fantastic members down at the courts.

Millie Martin:  Vice-President, SNC Liason, Prize-giving Committee - I have been involved with the club now for a number of years with this being my 3rd year as Vice-President. I currently play in the Social grade with a great group of girls and my 16 year old daughter is also playing and coaching. I also casually umpire and am going to try and obtain some umpire levels this year, better late than never! My husband and I own Wedgtek Engineering Services Ltd and I also work part time at Lincoln High School as a Sports Administrator. This keep me very busy, especially in winter but I love it! In the summer, we enjoy camping down at Lake Aviemore, jet skiing, catching up with friends and slowing down from the hectic winter schedule.

Diana Walsh:  Secretary, SNC Liason -

Leanne Brown:  Treasurer, Social Media Adminstrator, Website Design, Team Selection Coordinator, Prize-giving Committee - I am a Life Member of the club and am still excited to be part of the leadership team filling the role of Treasurer once again. I have undertaken most roles within the club over the last 28 years, played and been lucky enough to watch my daughters’ love of the game develop from little tots through to their premier grade netball under Rolleston club. I am a retired secondary school mathematics teacher but am currently part-time farmer, office manager at CWT and now owner of my new business “Elbee Events” where I design and style table and venue decor. In my spare time I love gardening, photography, jet-boating and camping at Benmore with friends and family.

Andrea Davidson:  Officials Coordinator, Prize-giving Committee -  I am a life member of the club and have held a number of roles within the club.  I have played and coached for over 27 years so have seen a huge change.  At the moment I am the umpire/bench officials coordinator.  I have four children and two grandkids.  They all play either netball or rugby so our Saturday's are busy trying to watch them. I am down at the courts early Saturday mornings to watch my little primary team I coach as well as umpire at premier level.  Our family own Wood n Tree here in Rolly. In my spare time I play tennis, love summer on the lakes and have just starting tramping, going from “never done it before” to the Old Ghost Road 84km of 4 nights at New Years, so now we are hooked!

Lou Dierck:  Senior Club Captain, Head Selector, Prize-giving Committee - I have been involved in netball for many years as a coach and player.  I am committed and focused on coaching development, player development and general support as a go-to person as Senior Club Captain for the season ahead of us.  I have been fortunate over the years to coach many of the players still involved in our club and to watch both my daughter and two granddaughters play for the RNC and also celebrating the proud moment with my daughter's role as President. This year I reach the milestone of working for 30 years with the Department of Corrections. I have a passion for Netball in all aspects and I feel it is important to share skills and experiences with our players and encourage the development of the club. I am an active supporter of the Tactics and the Silver Ferns.

Meet the rest of the committee:

Jacqui Newell:  Registration Adminsitrator, Website Design, Grants Administrator - I’ve been involved with RNC since 2009 when I offered to help and ended up coaching the team!  Since then I have coached, managed, and taken on many other roles including Funding person, Registrations, Website, Emails.  I enjoy being part of a fun and supportive committee who work hard for our players to give them the best netball experience we can.  Not always an easy job in such a big club!

Naomi Sutton:  Y1-4 Coordinator -  This is my first year being on the committee for having played the last 2 years in a social team. I have a BIG passion for netball and have been involved in one way or another for over 20 years. This year I'm looking forward to helping get our future ferns into netball where hopefully they will learn some new skills, meet some new friends, grow a new love for the game and most importantly have some fun. I'm excited to see what 2021 brings to Rolleston Netball club and look forward to being part of an awesome team that love the game as much as I do.

Rayleen Clarke:  Merchandise, Fireworks Coordinator, Prize-giving Committee -I’m a life member both of Rolleston Netball Club and Selwyn Netball Centre and I just love netball. I’ve been travelling to Lincoln every year for many many years where I’ve played, umpired, am a bench official and coach. I love that my 3 daughters are following in my footsteps and my grand daughter has a Rolly dress that wears (at 2 yr olds). I enjoyed my role as President last year, and look forward to the new leadership within the committee this season.

Rhian Bambry:  Uniform Coordinator-

Regan Baxter: Sponsorship, Fundraising & Social Events Coordinator -

Meghan Dierck: Uniform Coordinator and Prize Giving Committee - I am very lucky to be surrounded by a passionate netball family so volunteering to be on the RNC committee was a natural progression. I am a netball mum with my daughter having played every year for Rolleston since year 5 (2021).  I love seeing her skills develop every year and watching her play, especially down at Lincoln courts where I played as a child.  She is a third-generation player for the RNC alongside her cousin, and following her niece, aunty, and granny. I have also adored being part of the Saints and Sinners master’s netball team since 2020. It is a privilege to be part of such a dedicated club that contributes so much to netball and the community.

Bex Clarke:  Merchandise, Prize-giving Committee -

Dani Clarke-Dempsey: Prize-giving Committee -  I have been down at the netball courts since I was 6 weeks old so never really got the choice of netball - it was all I knew! I have been with Rolleston Netball Club for many years playing, umpiring and coaching. I have my service award with the club and absolutely love being involved. My nearly 3 year old, rocks around the courts in her netball dress and will soon enough be the fourth generation of our family to play for Rolleston. I am super passionate about coaching the game and love mentoring our young coaches.
