Dierck/Martin Family Trophy for Team of the Year is chosen by the RNC committee and is awarded to a team who have followed the RNC code of conduct. Shows great sportsmanship on and off the Court. Involve themselves in umpiring, fundraising and any other volunteering activities arranged by RNC. Is enjoying their season on and off the court. May not necessarily be winning their games, but are eligible by the above.
Timutimu Memorial Taonga for Club Personality is awarded to a club member or supporter who has most/all of the following attributes: Is well-known to other club members. Has an “above & beyond” level of commitment to the club. Is loyal to the club and passionate about the club. Encourages members (players, coaches, umpires) in a positive way to reach their potential. Has the ability to bring out the best in other club members or supporters. Has a sense of humour and fun.
Kirsty O'Connell Memorial Trophy for Player Spirit is awarded to a player who has most/all of the following attributes: Demonstrates enthusiasm, inclusion and kindness. Turns up each week with a positive mindset and attitude. Lifts the team’s spirit through though times on and off the court. Has the ability to “NOT GIVE UP” and make it believable. Extremely humble and all around great human with extra sass and ‘doesn’t wear a g-string’.
Rolleston Volunteer Fire Brigade Fair Play Trophy – Senior and Junior The Fair Play Trophy is awarded to the player who plays within the rules, respects the umpires, the opposition and the supporters, is a gracious winner and a dignified loser, plays hard but fair, enjoys the game, has a positive but determined attitude towards winning, is a great role model. NB - at the committee’s discretion this award can be given to a club member who does not necessarily play netball.
Joyce Wilson Cup for Meritorious Achievement is awarded to a player who: Has overcome a special need, or who has played admirably under any circumstances, or who has displayed commendable achievement because they have played with physical restriction.

RNC Cup for Y9 Secondary Player of the Year
Wood Family Y7/8 Primary Player of the Year Cup
Beryl Wilson Trophy for Y5/6 Junior Primary Player of the Year
The Player of the Year Trophy is awarded to the player who: Is the most skilled and outstanding netballer in each category/age group. May have been selected in a representative team in the present season. Displays most of the following attributes at BOTH games AND practices: encourages fair play, is the team captain or shows positive leadership, has a positive attitude to practices and Saturday games, has good attendance at trainings, is punctual to training and games, has improved personal skills, is a good team player, is committed, has good on-court rapport with team members, is able to take direction from the coach and apply these to their game, has a positive on-court attitude, is a positive role model. Has possibly contributed in other areas of the RNC (umpiring, coaching, other duties). (NB: any primary player who plays in the senior grades is not eligible for the Primary Player of the Year trophy)
