Winners Joan & Graeme Simpson Aorangi 13 wins, runners up on a count back were Lesley Shortus & Tony King Waimate from Bev Blair & Bill Allnut Waireka on 11 wins. The rain came during the last game on Sunday and we had no hail, good playing conditions otherwise on both Saturday and Sunday with a full compliment of players (32).

the snow was very low on the Hunter Hills as play started and the rain held off until the days play was completed.
Results Handicap Doubles played on Sunday 4th November, the sun shone the sky was blue and it was very cold.
Winners of the final were Helena Sunitsch and Jasmine Rule [mother/daughter combination] from Brian Monckton and Barbara Williams 10-9 the game lasting 1 & a half hours.  All four players were from the Awamoa/Gardens club in Oamaru.
