Welcome to the
Southland Tramping Club
Founded in 1947
Tramping, Biking, Kayaking, Conservation Projects, Track Maintenance and Trapping Projects are some of the activities undertaken by Club Members, as well as the odd social event (meals out, 10 pin bowling etc)
- friendly people who enjoy the outdoors and the amazing world of nature
- there are families, couples and individuals so you can usually find someone to walk and talk with.
- trips range from easy day trips to multiday trips for fit members, social events as well as epic adventures.
- Tramping - Cycling - Kayaking (and if you think of some other adventures don't be afraid to say, we just might give it a go) !!!!!)
- Volunteering - track maintenance, stoat trapping, marshalls at events
Club Meetings are held on the second Wednesday of the month at the Federated Farmers Building, 70 Forth Street, Invercargill at 7:30pm. This is a time catch up with other members, see what people have been doing and plan future tramps. We usually have a guest speaker or fun activity and finish with supper and a raffle.
ALL WELCOME !!
