2026 Junior Rugby Season

Kindy Rippa Rugby (age 3 to school) - trainings / mini games will be on Friday  

                     late afternoon to suit the volunteer Team Coach.

All School Year 1 and 2 rugby games (rippa rugby) will be played on Friday late 

                     afternoon or early evening (no Saturday Morning games).  Trainings 

                     will be various weekdays after school to suit each individual volunteer 

                     Team Coach.

All School Year 3 – 8 (tackle rugby) will be played on Saturday mornings. 

                     Trainings will be various weekdays after school to suit each individual 

                      volunteer Team Coach.

Week 1 – May 8^th / 9^th: Year 1 – 5 will be normal inter-club match format

                                    : Grading Festival 1 for all teams in Years 6 - 8

Week 2 – May 15^th / 16^th:  Year 1 – 5 will be normal inter-club match format

                                        : Grading Festival 2 for all teams in Years 6 - 8

Week 3 – May 22^nd / 23^rd:  Normal inter-club match format

Week 4 – May 29^th / 30^th:   Normal inter-club match format

Week 5 – June 5^th / 6^th: Normal inter-club match format

Week 6 – June 12^th / 13^th: Normal inter-club match format

Week 7 – June 19^th / 20^th: Normal inter-club match format

Week 8 – June 26^th / 27^th: Normal inter-club match format

Week 9 – July 3^rd / 4^th :  School Holidays – no play for any grades

Week 10 – July 10^th / 11^th: School Holidays – no play for any grades

Week 11 – July 17^th / 18^th:  Normal inter-club match format

Week 12 – July 24^th / 25^th : Normal inter-club match format 

                 July 26^th: Special invitational tournament which teams may opt in to

Week 13 – July 31^st / August 1^st :  Normal inter-club match format 

Week 14 – August 7^th / 8^th: Normal inter-club match format 

Week 15 – August 14^th / 15^th: Normal inter-club match format 

                 August 16^th – Junior Club Prizegiving for all teams Year 1 - 8
