All players from Kindy Rippa through to Year 8 need to be registered using the NZ registration system which is Rugby Xplorer NZ (note the spelling on Xplorer).

All first time players need to have their parent / guardian make a parent profile and then link their child / ren.  Subsequent years simply need registration of the player (no need to make a profile again).

HOW TO REGISTER:

To register a new child on Rugby Xplorer in NZ, download the Rugby Xplorer app or visit the website to create a parent/guardian account first. Click 'Register,' then 'Find a Club,' (Taradale Rugby Club) and select 'Link a new person' to add your child's details. Complete the registration by selecting the club, role (Player), and season. 

Steps to Register a New Child (NZ):

  1. Create Account: Download the Rugby Xplorer app or go to the Rugby Xplorer website and create a profile for yourself (the parent/guardian).
  2. Start Registration: Navigate to 'Register' (bottom right in the app) and select 'Find a Club' (Taradale Rugby Club)
  3. Add Child: Select 'Link a new person' to create a profile for your child, entering their details (name, DOB).
  4. Select Club & Role: Search for your local club, then select the role as 'Player' and the appropriate registration type (e.g., Junior).
  5. Complete Details: Fill in personal details, add a profile photo, and ensure all required fields are filled.
  6. Payment: Proceed to pay the registration fees to finalise the process.  This will come up as $0 as we do not use Rugby Xplorer for payments due to the additional costs involved.  Season fees will be able to be paid online or at the club at a later date. 


Fees for the 2026 season are:

Kindy Rippa (3 & 4 year old) = $15.00 per player
5th & 6th Grade = $30.00 per player
7th - 12th Grade = $45.00 per player
Family of 3 or more siblings (living in same house) = $110.00 max

Season fees include a Club Tee for every player.

Game Day Socks and shorts will be available for sale on Friday afternoons 4.30 - 6pm in the Clubrooms

Game Day Jerseys will be on loan in team sets for the season.

Please consider helping with coaching in 2026 - we can not run teams without coaches and parent help.  There are free coaching courses you are able to attend and online resources to help you.
