Thinking About Enrolling?

It’s important to us that we ensure our new learners (and whānau) who enrol at Tiaho are well supported on entry to school, and made to feel welcome from Day 1.

We need to make sure that all of our Kaiako have the information that they need to build a great relationship with the learner, and find the best supports for them. This process is underpinned by our core school values.

Our Office Nannies are our first point of contact. Come in and see them to make an appointment to meet the Tumuaki. When you meet with our Tumuaki, you get to kōrero about your child and their strengths and passions, and areas where they might need extra support. You also might like to visit the classroom where your child will go, and meet the teacher.

The Office Nannies will then set up the enrolment process and provide support (if you need it) in filling out the forms, purchasing uniforms and stationery, and ensuring that you have everything that you need for a successful start.

At our next assembly, we will officially welcome our new tamariki to their Tiaho whānau! Simple as that!
