Representative Personnel

Huge congratulations to the following personnel who have been appointed as Selwyn Netball Centre’s U18 and U16 Representative team officials for the 2024 season.  We were extremely impressed with the calibre of applications received and are pleased to be able to offer roles to everyone who applied including two Apprentice Coaches this season.  Thank you everyone for the time and effort you put into your applications and your willingness to be involved in the representative program.  We hope you have an extremely rewarding and enjoyable season

Coach Collective

(April) - Come along and join in our fun-filled morning for Coach Connectors and Umpire Coaches! It will be a great opportunity to build connections, identify your “why,” grow your coaching skills, and establish how we can best support our coaches and umpires.

FutureFERNS Coaching Workshops (April/May) - If you are considering coaching a Junior Year 1-8 team, we have a range of great Netball NZ coaching workshops and resources to help you prepare for the season. Please note all workshops are compulsory for coaches who are new to each relevant year level.

CCA1&2 Coaching Modules - We will be offering Netball NZ Coaching Framework modules throughout the season for you to begin or continue along your coaching pathway. At times these will be provided in conjunction with Player Development sessions to allow coaches to apply their newly learned skills immediately.

Other coach development opportunities - We want to support our coaches and give you opportunities in any way possible! Please check out some further opportunities that will be on offer in 2024:

• Year 7/8 Player Development Programme (July)
• U16 Emerging Talent Programme (April)
• U16/U18 and Senior Representative Teams (April-August)
