Year 1/2 FutureFERNS 10 week programme

Introduces Netball to 5-6 year olds.
The aim is to develop fundamental movement and basic netball skills.

The focus for this age group is on ‘exploring’ netball. It allows players to catch, pass, and shoot from day one, providing a fun introduction to netball. Junior co-ordinators and Star Helpers are on court to guide and assist.

Tuesdays - Games start at 3.45pm and 4.45pm

Year 1/2 teams play in the first round at 3:45 pm 
Year 3/4 teams can be played in either of the rounds

Year 1/2 futureFERNS Star Helper (Coach) Workshops 

We offer compulsory workshops to support the development of our Star Helpers,
Coaches and Club Junior Coordinators.  They provide new and developing coaches
the opportunity to connect and learn in a fun, safe and interactive environment to
​​​​​​​enable them to deliver a quality, enjoyable, learning experience for our young Tamariki.

Coaches can select one of the following two days that they wish to attend:​​​​​​​

Monday 13th May

5.30-7pm

Sunday 19th May

1.30-3pm
