Year 7/8 futureFERNS 

Introduces netball to 11-12 year olds.
Players have developed a considerable understanding of the game and are now playing 7-a-side.
The emphasis is on converting the fundamental movement and basic Netball skills to foundation
netball skills. Performance, challenge and ‘playing’ are key motives for this age group.
Ensuring positional rotation and playing at least half a game will give each player the opportunity
to participate and develop.

Teams play on a Saturday at either Selwyn Sports Centre in Rolleston or Selwyn Netball Courts in Lincoln

Year 7/8 futureFERNS Coach Workshops 

We offer compulsory workshops to support the development
of our Coaches and Club Junior Coordinators.  They provide new and developing coaches
the opportunity to connect and learn in a fun, safe and interactive environment
to enable them to deliver a quality, enjoyable, learning experience for our young Tamariki.

Coaches can select one of the following two days that they wish to attend.
