Head Coach - Will Zhou

I am very excited at the opportunity to work with Wellington College for the coming hockey season. This is a team that is steeped in history, and I am looking forward to embracing the role and leaving my mark on the team. My playing history includes representing both Wellington and Canterbury at the national level. Kailin and I also play club hockey for the Indians P1 Men's side. My coaching background includes working with the Wellington U18 Men's team in 2022 as an assistant coach. Prior to this I was a development officer with Canterbury Hockey, where I had the opportunity to work with athletes from grass roots through to high performance..

Assistant Coach - Kailin Dayal

Kailin is an old boy of Wellington College with his final year being in 2016. Having thoroughly enjoyed his time playing for Wellington College and the development that came with it, the opportunity to give back to the College is something that felt right for him. Kailin throughout his playing career has been involved with Wellington Hockey representative teams through all the age groups up to currently the Senior Men’s team and plays alongside Will in the Indians P1 men’s side at the club level. Whilst at university in Otago he coached the Otago University Hockey Club team and is now excited to continue coaching here with the 1st XI.
