Team registrations close: Monday 25 March 

Our teams compete in a weekly competition administered by Tauranga City Basketball Association. 

Head of Code:  Cairyn Rogers, Tauranga City Basketball Association (TCBA).

Coaches:

Year 07-13:  Cairyn Rogers, Tauranga City Basketball Association.

Year 01-06:  We do require volunteer students and adults for these year groups.  If you are interested in coaching, please contact the Sports Coordinator at [email protected].

Term 1: (3x3 Summer Series)

Primary and Intermediate:

• Competition year levels are Year 03-04, Year 05-06 and Year 07-08.
• 6-week competition.  Games played Monday's.  19 February – 08 April 2024 (no games 18 March or 01 April). 
• No coaching allowed in this competition,  however, each team must have a Team Manager to be entered.

Secondary:

• Junior and Senior competition.
• 6-week competition.  Games played Monday's. 19 February –08 April 2024 (no games 18 March or 01 April). 
• No coaching allowed in this competition,  however, each team must have a Team Manager to be entered.

Terms 2 and 3: (Winter League)

Secondary - Senior (Year 11-13) and Junior (Year 09-10):

• Senior:  Premier and A Grades (Stop Clock Grades): 14-week competition 08 May – 28 August 2024
  (no games 26 June).  Games played Wednesday's.

• Junior:  Age-group Grades (Running Clock Grades): 13-week competition 10 May – 23 August 2024 
  (no games 28 June).  Games played Friday's.

• In-season Training: 
  • Senior:  Tuesday lunchtime and Friday after school 3:30-5pm in the ACG Gymnasium.
  • J​​​​​​​unior:  Wednesday and Thursday lunchtime in the ACG Gymnasium (NO TEAM IN 2024)

Intermediate (Year 07-08):

• 12-week competition 13 May – 26 August 2024 (no games 03 or 24 June).  Games played Monday's.
• Training:  Wednesday lunchtime in the ACG Gymnasium.

Primary:

• Year 05-06: 3-week competition.  Games played Friday's.
  • 10 May–23 August 2024 (no games 28 June)
• Year 03-04: 14-week competition.  Games played Tuesday's.
  • 14 May–27 August 2024 (no games 25 June)
• Little League: 2x 6-week competitions.  Games played Monday's.
  • Competition 01:  13 May–01 July 2024 (no games 03 or 24 June)
  • Competition 02:  22 July–26 August 2024
• Training to be confirmed.

Locations:

Queen Elizabeth Youth Centre/Memorial Hall and/or Mercury Arena.​​​​​​​

World Cup Dates:

Teams must have played the winter season competition to enter in these tournaments.

• Year 03-04: Thursday 13 June 2024 (24 teams only) 

• Year 05-06: Thursday 20 June 2024 (24 teams only) 

• Year 07-08: Thursday 01 August 2024 (24 teams only) 

Uniform:

• Year 05-13 sports uniform provided.
• Year 01-04 wear PE uniform.
• Plain white socks must be purchased/worn with appropriate sports shoes.
• Mouthguards must be worn.

Fees:

We have been advised by TCBA that entry fees will increase significantly in 2024 due to increases in venue costs from Bay Venues.

Term 1 (Summer 2024):

• Secondary:  $148 (4 players)
• Year 07-08:  $42 (5 players) $53 (4 players)
• Year 05-06:  $38 (5 players) $47 (4 players)
• Year 03-04:  $43 (4 players) $34 (5 players)

Term 2-3 (Winter 2024) subject to change based on final team numbers:

• Year 11-13:  $405
• Year 09-10:  $295
• Year 07-08:  $275  
• Year 03-04:  Only three students registered, not enough to enter a team in 2024.
• Year 05-06:  No registered students in 2024.
• Year 01-02:  No registered students 2024.
