Our teams compete in a weekly competition administered by Volleyball Tauranga.
Term 1 - Available to:
Senior (Year 11-13): Competitive (Girls and Boys)
- All teams will be rostered to do duty which includes a 1st Referee and Scorer. Failure to do duty will result in a "bye" the following week.
- League day/dates: Thursdays, 15 February - 4 April (8 weeks)
- Game times: Between 5pm-9:30pm. 40-minute games
- Location: QEYC Stadium , 11th Ave, Tauranga and Mercury Arena Baypark - You could be drawn to play at either venue.
- Training: Monday 3:30-5pm (Boys) and 3:30-5pm Wednesday (Girls)
Junior teams (Year 09-10): Competitive (Girls and Boys)
- NO Referees provided this term. Teams must provide a Referee and Scorer for THEIR OWN game. Mentors will support teams to Ref and Score.
- League day/dates: Tuesdays, 20 February - 9 April (8 weeks)
- Game times: Between 4:10pm-9:30pm. 40-minute games
- Location: QEYC Stadium, 11th Ave, Tauranga
- Training: Friday lunchtime (Girls)
NB: In Term 4 this will change to 3:30-5pm, day TBC. Currently not enough registrations for a Boys team.
Junior teams (Year 09-10): Social (Girls / Boys / Mixed)
- Referees provided.
- League day/dates: Wednesdays, 21 February - 10 April (8 weeks)
- Game times: Between 4:15pm-9:00pm. 40-minute games
- Location: QEYC , 11th Ave, Tauranga and Tauranga Girls College
- Players join the Competitive team training sessions above, however Coach does not attend games.
Intermediate (Year 07-08)
- Grades are A and B - Boys, Girls, and Mixed.
A grade - have some experience, can serve well and maintain rallies, and B grade - still learning. Teams will be graded after the first week, and can be regraded if in the wrong grade. - League day/dates: Fridays, 16 February - 5 April (7 weeks)
- Game times: Between 4:15pm - 8.30pm. 40-minute games.
- Location: QEYC Stadium, 11th Ave Tauranga
- Training: Thursday lunchtime.
Primary (Year 03-06) Kiwi Volley
Not enough students registered to enter teams. There will be a Lunchtime Primary Volleyball Club on Thursday lunchtime. Please see the Primary Sports page (under Sports tab)
- Years 03 & 04 Modified rules 4-a-side
- Years 05 & 06 Social and Competitive 4-a-side
- League day/dates: Fridays, 16 February - 5 April
- Game times: 4:15pm – 7:15pm
- Location: Memorial Hall - 11th Ave (little hall beside QEYC)
