Mr Geo Ward moved that the Bowling Club be formed.
Mrs Robinson moved the Club be called The Franklin Park Bowling Club"
Mr Keith Jackson Moved an amendment it to be known as "The Clarks Beach Bowling Club

8/7/1975: Just 15 months after calling the first meeting the all weather green was laid
18/10/1975: Keith Jackson suggested the club be incorporated and a general discussion about procuring a Club House took Place.
18/11/1975: Mrs Margaret Grenfell handed the committee $30.05 from a raffle she ran herself for a tatted dressing table set she had made. Mr Peter Glassey reported if concreting could be completed around the green ,play could start labour weekend.
1976/1977: First financial membership subs to be $10 per person moved Mr Ward. Amendment by Mr Hosking $5.per person was carried.He felt that $5 was enough as the club had little in the way of facilities, 21 playing members as follows:

16/2/1977: The Club became incorporated
May 1977: A Temporary pavilion was donated by Mrs Swift. Second hand timber purchased for $10 from Patumahoe School.
17/8/77: 1st AGM of the Inc Club. Mr Jackson Chaired the meeting.Mr Glassey suggested giving the Horton Boys $1 each and Mr Horton 2 packets of cigarettes for work done at the club
1977/1978: In partial recess for 13 months:
1978/1979: All Weather green out of order.
1979/1980: Similar position no subs requested but the fundraising continued. The grass green was sown with Cotula. The committee decided to concentrate on the grass green as the rubber green was deteriorating.
Application for a sports grant to purchase a
Scott Bonnar Mower a Roller and Irrigation for $2000
Mrs Hosking Donated Building No2 to be sited by the Cotular Green. Green Partially opened with 30 members.
1981/1982: Councilor Nolene McClarin opened the new Cotula Green.
Club Membership was 27 full with 22 social members.
Men's bowling club applied to affiliate with Counties Bowling Assn. and Women Bowling Club affiliate with Auckland Women's Bowling Assn.
