What a fantastic way to start another season! 🥰

After a whole season away from our greens, it was so good to see everyone back out there, rolling bowls, catching up, having a laugh and enjoying being together again. 💙💛

A very special thank you to our lovely Patron, Hazel Rutherford, for rolling the first jack of the season, and to our Life Member David Culbert for rolling the first bowl. It was a pretty special way to officially get our season underway. 🎉

We also raised the flag at half-mast in remembrance of those who have come and gone, taking a moment to remember and honour those who have been part of our club and our lives. ❤️

Today also saw our first tournament of the season — the President’s Cup! 🏆

A huge CONGRATULATIONS to Pat Mitchell and Ian McGregor, our well-deserved winners on the day! 👏🎉

And well done to everyone who played. It was fantastic to see so many familiar faces back on the green as well as our new members😁😁lots of smiles, laughs and good-natured competition reminded us just how special our club is.

A massive thank you to everyone who came along to support the day, and especially to our amazing volunteers who helped make it all happen — our ladies in the kitchen,doing the BBQ. We appreciate you more than you know! ❤️
