1982:    Our First Bowling Club Flag ws donated by Mrs Wratton. The Club became affiliated to Bowls New Zealand
A sewerage line from the old pavilion to Torkar Road was put in. the club had their own toilets at last

Mr Mill  moved we approach Otaua Bowling Club Regarding an annual competition between the two clubs for a trophy to be call " The Bone Of Contention"


1984: AGM From  Presidents  Geo Wards  report reads "it was a credit to the Club and it's members that complimentary remarks were made about the Green and their open Tournaments were well supported.Pokeno Ham & Bacon Co. had been most generous giving prizes for raffles etc.

1986 : Minutes of the Match Committee held on 3rd March @ 7pm .It was decided that the purchase of a 4 stroke mower was not needed and felt a 2 stroke would do.During the winter socials would be held every Wednesday afternoons with admission being 50.cents and a raffle.

1986: AGM Mr Ward stood down as President and F Palmer took the chair.
Mr Glassey and Mr Ward were made life members for their Sterling Work" thy put into the club.It was decided to install a new irriagation system at a cost of $3,800. also allowing local resident Mr Skinner to Graze sheep around the Green. A refreshment committee was set to run the bar the afternoon tea fund had been exhausted the 20.cents charge was insufficient.


1987 / 1988:  Mr Keith Morris was thanked for supplying parts, so Ivan Harris could construct a grooving machine for the green

1989 / 1990: Peter Glassey retired from green keeper at the club.He was generally said to be the best in Counties.Mention was also made of the many machines constructed by Ivan Harris for use on the green.The President met with Mr D Pearse from the Fire Brigade about running a tournament for the benefit of the Fire Brigade.1989 Ivan Harris became Green Keeper
Discussion took place about a new club house that could be built with voluntary labour for $36,000. The club had $9.000 and Franklin District Council to give the balance as a loan over 10 years.one member pointed out that there were three Constitutions and they need to be aligned.
The new club house cost,after construction had a grand total of $46,000 appox. Mr Bailey was the builder


May 1990MR Collier became president subs were increased to $26 and social $10 Finishing off the club house would bring the total cost to $50,000
The honors boards were completed and the booking up of drinks at the bar to cease.
The Fire Brigade suggested changing the format for their fundraising bowling day to include outside teams and charge $8 per player.It was  Left in the hands of Judy Rivers and Joan Donald to Organise.


July 1990   Past President Margaret Grenfell and Frank Palmer cut the ribbon to open the New Club House. A special function was held to  celebrate moving from the old to the new . The official opening of the new club house took place Saturday 25th November 1990 Representatives Dot Hale and Arther Knight Attended and entertainment by the Maori Concert Party Followed
