COMPETITION CALENDAR

A wide range of regional competitions are available to our athletes. Full details of these will be published in the Children’s 2025/26 Summer Handbook. A link will be posted here once its published in October 2025.

A significant change to the calander this season is there is no longer a seperate Relay Champs in December and Childrens Champs in March. This is now a joint event over TWO days in March 2026. This is being trialed for the 2025/26 season.

16 November - Around the Bridges (Hamilton - public event)

22 November - Te Awamutu Ribbon Day

29 November - Fairfield Ribbon Day

6 December - Taupo Ribbon Day

5-7 December - NZ Secondary Schools Track & Field Champs (Hastings)

14 December - Porritt Fun Day (further details to come)

2026

3 January - Tauranga Twilight Meet (7yo to 14yo athletes)

9-11 January - North Island Colgate Games (Tauranga) (7yo to 14yo athletes) 

16-18 January - South Island Colgate Games (Nelson) (7yo to 14yo athletes)

24 January - Waikato / BOP Open Meet (Porritt Stadium) (12yo to 13yo athletes) - Entries close 22 January

31 January - WBOP/Auckland Challenge Day (Papakura) (10yo to 13yo athletes) - Entries have closed

13 February - Te Aroha Short & Sweet Meet - Enter on the day

14 February - Porritt Classic (13yo & 14yo athletes) - Entries are open & close 11 February

21 February - Cambridge Pentathlon - Entries are open & close 18 February

28 February - Bellevue Ribbon Day (Tauranga) - Enter on the day

7 March - Paeroa Ribbon Day - Enter on the day

14-15 March - Waikato / BOP Children's Champs inc Relays (Porritt Stadium) (7yo to 14yo athletes). Entries open soon
