Sports scholarships are available to the Year 9 students at Iona College.

Tenure:

Funds are available throughout the student’s time at Iona.

Eligibility:

​​​​​​​Available to all students entering Iona in Year 9.

Purpose:

To assist the student to meet some of the costs associated with the sport for which the scholarship has been awarded.  Invoices/receipts for appropriate expenses are submitted to the Business Manager and a corresponding credit will be applied to your school account.

Selection:

Based on a fair assessment by the Sports Department during the year of each student’s ability in the nominated sport or sports.

To Apply:

Application forms are available from the school office and should include:

·          Details of the applicant’s participation and success in a particular sport or sports.

·          References supporting the application.

Closing Date:

1 March 2021

Awarded:

At the Sporting Awards Evening held at the start of Term 4in the year that the student is in Year 9.
