Thank you for taking the first step into refereeing. New Zealand Rugby has developed the Introduction to Refereeing resource for anyone that is new to refereeing rugby. This resource is the first stage of rugby referee training and development.
There are 15 modules to cover within the Introduction to Refereeing resource which covers most aspects of our game, including how to communicate, the tackle, scrum and lineout. Depending on what level you have started your refereeing journey, start on the module best suited to and your needs.
