King Country Rugby Referees Association has been aligned with King Country Rugby Union for 97 years after being established in 1926. King Country RRA supply referees for all primary school, secondary school and club rugby within the King Country Rugby Union where possible. We cover games from Taupo, Turangi, Taupō, Te Kuiti and Waitomo and everywhere in between. King Country RRA also supply referees for New Zealand Rugby compeitions including the Heartland Compeition and Super Rugby Under 20 Tournaments.

King Country RRA welcome everyone and anyone who is interested in being a referee and encourage anyone who is thinking of picking the whistle. We have regular Training and Development evenings to upskill you both on and off the field plus referee coaches who will give you coaching advice throughout the season. Whatever your refereeing goals are we can guide you along the way.

Our association is made up of committed volunteers who give up there vaulable time to help our referees and help our assocation strive both on and off the field.

As you might of heard, refereeing is the best seat in the house and another way to give back to the game we all love. Join us today.
