Helping Hands Fund

With our club values in mind (Whanaungatanga, Respect, Integrity and Fun) we aim to ensure that all players from our community are given equal opportunities to play netball without the financial burden that may stop them from registering or playing.

Sparked by Peta’s Social team in 2023, and supported by the Rolleston Netball Golden Oldies, funding has been established to financially assist those in need.  The RNC will also seek funding specifically for this Helping Hands Fund through local businesses and member support.

Helping Hands Nomination Form

The amount given to individual or family recipients will be decided by the Helping Hands sub-committee dependent on the total that is available to allocate in any one season.   All discussions will be confidential to this sub-committee. All records will be deleted once recipients are notified.  All nominations remain confidential to the sub-committe.  All nominees will be anonoymous to the recipient. No nomination will be accepted from a member nominating their own family member.

Recipients will be notified via email or phone call from a representative of the Helping Hands sub-committee.  They will only be told the amount they are to be credited to their subscription for the season through our Helping Hands Support. They will not have to enter into any discussions regarding their financial circumstances as it is purely a helping hand without any strings attached.
