Growing better people through sport and active recreation.
Kia Ora,
Welcome to Sport at Wakatipu High School.
WHS offers both a wide range of individual and team sports and active recreation opportunities to our rangatahi. Participation, development and performance pathways are available so students can engage at their preferred level and reach their potential.
Sport at WHS is successfully delivered within school and often in partnership with many local clubs in the Wakatipu Basin. These clubs help to cater for secondary school sport by providing coaching, facilities and equipment. Our students and teams compete in a mix of Central Otago, Southland and Otago Secondary School Sport competitions as well as South Island and New Zealand tournaments.
