Warkworth Netball Club

Registrations for the 2024 season are now closed.

At the Warkworth Netball Club we aim to foster netball by creating an inclusive and fun club to be a part of. We want to ensure our members can develop new skills and enjoy the active game of netball. Our club has teams available for primary school (yrs1-6) boys and girls, as well as adults.

About us

The Warkworth Netball Club strives to provide our community the opportunity to play and learn the game of netball. We’re a community-based club run by volunteers, passionate about the game. We can't do alone - but with the help of our sponsorships, coaches and managers, we can be successful.

Where we play

Our club comes under Netball Northern Zone and we play in the Netball Rodney Centre competition at Wellsford’s Centennial Park. Other clubs in this league include; Mangawhai, Maungaturoto, Wellsford, Matakana, Kaipara, Snells Beach, Waipu and Tauhoa.

The Netball Rodney Centre follows the Netball NZ official junior netball programme - called the 'futureFERNS' and all junior games are played in this format. Check out the futureFERNS website for more information.

Competition dates

The Netball Rodney Centre competition starts in May and runs through until the end of August – with a break for the July school holidays.

Our teams

We have teams in the junior (yr1-6 students) and senior (adults) competitions. We do not currently offer teams for those in years 7-13 as this are provided through Mahurangi College.
