The Featherston Netball Club is holding their biggest fundraiser of the year. We are hosting a Cabaret, those of you who are unsure of what a Cabaret is, well let us break it down.. From the 1940's to the late 1980's, these were a dance where people attended as night outs in the weekends. When you arrive at a Cabaret, you were dressed in your best outfit, with music, food , drinks and loads of great company, dancing and having a lot of fun.

These were common in Featherston from memory and our parents attended these as outings with their friends and families This year Featherston Netball Club would like to bring this back as a fundraiser and make it a fun event for our locals and wider communities.

All are welcome to come along and enjoy this evening. We are going to hold this event on Saturday, 13th July 2019 from 7.00 pm to 12 midnight at the Featherston Rugby Club Rooms. The Club will be providing supper and the 432 band for our guests.

The cost for admission is $30.00 per head, this will entitle you a supper and the band. The bar is open, the netball ladies and helpers will be selling raffles, there will also be a prize for the BEST DRESSED  and spot prizes for our guests.

The supper will be made with love by our lovely Tania Cotton who is a chef at the Cossie Club in Upper Hutt. Tania has a son Rhys Tekira (Coach for Team 1) and daughter (Stacey Tekira (Vice Captain) of Team 1) and we could not thank Tania enough.

The SEKI BRADAS from Masterton who will be performing their first ever gig at the fundraiser.  Onwards and Upwards for these young men. They have just finished college, they attended Makoura College.  Their music is reggae, RnB and a mixture of other.  Let our wonderful Featherston Community welcome our youth and support them on the evening.

All proceeds will go towards the costs to attend the Kurungaituku Rotorua Netball Tournament, which we will be taking a Featherston Team to and will also cover club costs and fees for 2019.

There is a limit to the number of tickets to be sold, so get in quick and purchase a ticket(s) for you and your friends/family and/or partner. All tickets can be private messaged, emailed or text to you and will only be available upon the admission payment of $30.00 being paid. We will have GO MONEY available for you to pay into if there is tickets still available to be sold at the door. Otherwise ALL tickets will be sold beforehand. All tickets must be shown at the door before entering, there will be a stamp on the back of your hand to show you are a paid guest..
