DISCUS

Athlete issued a numbered marker before they begin.
Athletes to step into the circle with the discus
They move to the front of the circle, without putting their foot on or over the line.
"Throw" the discus within the marked arc.
Athlete must then turn and exit out the back of the circle BUT not before the discus has touched the ground.
Official is to spike the throw from the front of where the discus landed. Mark this with that athlete's issued marker and do all the measuring at the end of the 2 or 3 throws.
If the athlete's 2nd and 3rd throws do not improve, leave their marker where it is, but each time they exceed their original throw, move their marker accordingly.
The tape measure is to run through the centre of the circle.
Measuring the throw: put the measuring spike where their marker is, and measure to the front of the circle.
