GREYMOUTH  ATHLETIC CLUB  -   Newsletter  November 2018

Welcome to the season.  We have had a solid start with only one cancellation to date. Numbers have been low but starting to build as the weather settles. Bring a friend along.

Around 1500 primary school students competed across; school, district and regional athletics days at ANZAC Park so our volunteer efforts are contributing to an active community.

Thanks to all who helped at our recent working-bee to lay rubber onto long jump and high jump run –ups.  We still have another strip to go down on the high jump. We also have some work to do to tidy up the south end of the ground i.e. remove gorse & blackberry and cut back long grass. Feel free to make a start anytime. 

Pine trees have regenerated can be taken for Christmas Trees for a small donation to the club. ($5-10) hand to Margaret or Jack.

Cancellations

If the meets are cancelled for weather conditions an email is sent out asap to the database and Coast FM carry a cancellation notice. The Juniors are also posted on their facebook:

Competitive Member 15-17:     $  90

Competitive Member 18-18yrs $100

Competitive Member 20yrs+    $115

Social Member 15yrs+                $  60
