Are you interested in supporting young people to taste & enjoy the sport that is Rugby League?

Do you have the skills, time and  / or energy to assist?

Are you a past player, who now has children that want to emulate the pictures they have seen of Dad playing?

Thus far we have recruited wisely and have secured the services of long-term Local League Players as coaches, for this programme are; these are:

- Kiria Tangaroa
- Peter Butler
- Papa Leota

We have sercured the services of Lynley Walker, who will oversee the first aid, and any medical assistance that particioants may require. Lynley has been is a dedicated sportswoman who has been involved within junior, senior & masters sports for many years, and brings her knowledge of sport & medicine to this programme (Lyn is a registered nurse, within community health).

We still require more support within this programme;

For the success of this programme, we are wanting specific skill set for our "COACHING TEAM", these include:
- Rugby League knowledge
- Junior coaching certificates
- Wrestling / Ju-Jitsu training / knowledge
- Youth development strategies

Within our "SUPPORT TEAM", we are seeking the following skill sets;
- 1st Aid qualifications
- Organisational Management
- Equipment Management
- Funding applications

As this programme develops, we may need other skill sets, please contact me if  are interested to assist, and / or you have any of the above mentioned skill sets.

TIME COMMITMENT needed for the volunteers is estimated at a maximum of 4 hours per week. This will include programme briefing, preparation, facilitation and evaluation for all volunteers.
