By registering with Kumeū Cricket Club, I confirm that I have read, understood, and agree to the Club Registration Policy.
Payment Commitment
Full season fees are payable at the time of registration regardless of my availability, injury, withdrawal, or travel plans.
Players are only eligible for selection in any club team once registered on PlayHQ and full payment has been received.
The club reserves the right to suspend participation in games and/or training due to misconduct.
Transfer & Financial Clearance
Transfers to another club will not be approved while any balance remains unpaid.
Transfer requests with outstanding balances will be declined and recorded as “Financial obligations not met” until payment is received in full.
If a player is found playing for another club—including clubs outside the Auckland region—without first requesting a transfer and/or while any balance remains unpaid, whether under their legal name or any variation of their name, Kumeū Cricket Club reserves the right to:
Cancellation and Refund
All cancellation requests, including the reason for cancellation, must be submitted in writing to kumeucricket@gmail.com.
Players who cancel their registration may be eligible for a refund depending on the timing, in accordance with the schedule below:
Up to and including 31 July 2026: Full refund, less a $65.00 administration fee.
From 1 August until the day before the first scheduled match: 50% refund.
From the first scheduled match onwards: No refund.
*** PlayHQ offers an optional Refund Protection product that may be purchased at the time of registration. This optional cover protects the portion of the registration fee that is not covered under the club’s refund schedule. Kumeū Cricket Club is not affiliated with this product. It is offered solely through PlayHQ and may be selected at your discretion during registration. Please ensure you review the relevant PlayHQ Terms and Conditions before purchasing this optional cover.
Financial Hardship or Support
If you are experiencing genuine financial difficulty or hardship, please contact the club as early as possible to discuss options or support. We are here to help and will work with you confidentially where possible.
Privacy Statement
All personal and payment information is handled in accordance with the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020 and will only be shared with relevant governing bodies (e.g. Auckland Cricket, NZC) where required for purposes such as player eligibility, club transfers, and official registration.
