A Club Team is made up of individual players who register with Kumeū Cricket Club and agree to be selected in accordance with the Club’s Selection Policy.
Our selected Club Teams are Premier Men , Premier Reserve Men, Premier Three and Championship 5
By registering as an individual player and paying your individual registration fees, you acknowledge and agree that you are subject to the Club’s Selection Policy and must be available for selection across the relevant Club Teams. There are no exceptions to this requirement.
Team composition, player movement between teams and selection for each playing round are determined in accordance with the Club’s Selection Policy and the requirements of each team.
Registration and payment of individual playing fees do not guarantee selection in a particular club team or grade.
We understand that some players may have a preference or desire to play alongside existing teammates or friends in a specific club team or grade. However, the Club cannot guarantee team placement for any individual player or group of players within our Club Teams. Our selection process must be applied consistently and fairly to all members, and we are therefore unable to make exceptions or provide guarantees around team placement.
Players who specifically wish to register for our club and play together as an established team or in a specific grade may be better suited to our Club Affiliated Teams pathway (previously known as Closed Shop Teams) rather than through our Club Team selection pathway.
