Club Season

We row most of the season as club crews which means SKC and Waitaki will likely be mixed to form crews. (Example of a novice girls eight may have three SKC and the balance Waitaki,) They are all competing as OAMARU ROWING CLUB in club boats. We all row for the Oamaru Rowing Club in the Oamaru colours. This promotes club harmony and it’s a great sight, seeing the whole club at the lake side tent cheering each other along.

Club Nationals this year will be in our own back yard in Twizel so we would expect to take a large squad but again qualifying standards need to be achieved prior to this decision being made.

Otago Championship Regatta: 14th December - 16th December 2024

Canterbury Championship Regatta: 17th January - 19th January 2025

South Island Club Championship Regatta: 31st January - 2nd Februry 2025

NZ CLub Championship Regatta: 17th February - 22nd Febraury 2025
