Emma Verry and Olivia Norris-Spring both competed in Darwin, Australia at the 2026 Oceania Athletics Championships. With over 140 Kiwi athletes competing, Emma and Olivia were in the biggest team New Zealand has ever sent to these championships.

Olivia competed in the U18 High Jump, clearing 1.60m to finish 7th.

Emma had an excellent 800m, winning bronze in a time of 2.13.67. Emma also ran 2nd in the NZ Mixed 4 x 400m, winning silver behind a very competitive Australian team.
