In all clubs disagreements and misunderstandings can occur. We are a group of people coming together to create a Club for young people who enjoy a common interest - riding & caring for ponies. You don't have to be 'best friends' with everyone BUT we expect you to make an effort to contribute in a positive and constructive way.

First and foremost, we are a youth organisation and it is the responsibility of our parents and officials to be positive roll models to our riders.

As with all things in life, there will be times when our child will make mistakes, not perform to the best of their ability, have 'teenage moments', feel left out or hard done by, get eliminated, fail an exam, miss out on a team selection or all of the above! There will be other members who annoy you from time to time. Often how we adults choose to deal with these situations will reflect how well our riders cope, learn and move forward.

Our Coaches and Committee Members are all UNPAID volunteers. They put in 100's of hours of their own time for the benefit of YOUR child. Most work full time, are self employed and also manage their own families. So, BEFORE you rant and complain, take a breath! Get off your key board. Be proactive. Ask yourself, what can I contribute that's positive? What can I do to help? Don't gossip and grizzle to anyone who will listen. Be kind to each other.

Be the person others respect.

These are important life skills that are not unique to Pony Club! For example, workplaces present similar challenges. Our aim is to create a positive environment that allows all our riders can achieve their goals and be the very best they can.

Please refer to our Rally Expectations.

If behaviours are unacceptable for a rider - then, it is also unacceptable from a parent. In extreme cases of misconduct a Yellow Report can be issued to both riders and parents.
