West Taieri Pony Club is a friendly proactive club operating for the benefit and pleasure of ALL our members regardless of their ability.
Pony Club is the ideal place to ask questions and seek advice about areas you may be unsure about or lack experience. For example, buying a new pony, fitting a saddle, feeding & health care, etc. At WTPC there are lots of knowledgable people who can point you in the right direction.
Like most clubs, we rely on our skilled pool of parent volunteers to hold office, coach, run events, fundraise and manage property.
Some parents may not think they have the skills required to offer help. However, assistance could be as simple as picking up rails, timing games, helping the lead rein riders or pushing a sausages around the BBQ.
So if you feel you have skills to offer please approach a committee member listed in
contacts. Alternatively, chip in a rallies or come along to our monthly meetings.
There are many opportunities to learn and 'putting up your hand' is a great way to be involved with your children, their friends, have fun and make good friendships of your own!
We encourage all WTPC members (and prospective members) to read and be familiar with the NZPCA
Code of Conduct.
