Rules are in place to ensure a safe and fair framework within which our club opperates. They are designed to protect riders, their ponies and officials.

Most of our rules come from the national body (NZPCA) and have been around for many many years. In addition, some events have specific rules as does WTPC.

The various rules are simply based on good sportsmanship, safety and common sense.


It is the responsibility of our riders and their parents to be familiar with the rules, especially those competing. If in doubt, refer to the NZPCA website or ask a member of the WTPC committee.
