Sports Fees Information, Registration & Process
Details of sport-specific fees are provided within each sport’s registration form. Sports fees contribute to College Sport Wellington levies, administration costs, and equipment/uniform contributions. Communication around sports fees owed and billing is managed through the Parent Portal & statements under the Financials section, where families can view outstanding balances.
Refunds and Withdrawals
If a team cannot be formed due to insufficient player numbers, all fees will be reimbursed. We understand that school life can be dynamic and that circumstances may change. However, withdrawals after team selection can impact planning and administration at both school and association levels. We ask that students and families carefully consider their commitment to a team before registering. Should circumstances change and a student can no longer participate, please contact the Sports Department as soon as possible. A refund will be processed and the student removed from all relevant sports and communication groups.
Payments can be made in a variety of ways:
Account statements are issued during the third week of each term, and final invoices listing outstanding sports fees are sent at the end of term. Families can check balances anytime through the Parent Portal’s Financials section.

All WHS Sport is ‘pay-to-play’, meaning all associated fees must be paid in full, unless an automatic payment (AP) plan has been set up to pay in instalments. *Please note that all outstanding sports fees from previous years must be paid, and all sports uniforms from 2025 must be returned to be eligible to play for WHS for 2026. We do not want financial circumstances to stop any student from participating in sports. Financial support options are available, and we encourage whānau to reach out if assistance is needed.
