Sport at WHS is all about getting involved, having fun, and being part of something bigger. It is where our values of Whānau, Excellence, Respect, and Ora come to life beyond the classroom. Whether it is a social training at lunchtime or a national final, our students have the opportunity to train, play, and represent WHS with pride and positivity. Sport at WHS is all about supporting one another, striving for the best, and showing respect in every game, no matter the result.​​​​​​​

Coaches, Managers & Support

We warmly welcome the involvement of parents and whānau in our sports programme. Coaching, managing, and supervising teams are vital roles that help our students thrive, and community support makes this possible.  If you’re interested in getting involved, please complete the: WHS Sport Volunteer Interest Form: Coaches, Managers & Support.

We also kindly ask all students and whānau to review our WHS Sport Code of Conduct to ensure that respect, fair play, and positive representation remain at the heart of everything we do.
