SENIOR DRAMA -
OPHELIA THINKS HARDER
In this feminist reimagining of Hamlet, Ophelia rejects her scripted descent into madness to instead embark on a journey of intellectual and social awakening. Trapped in a court where Hamlet is a narcissistic bore and her father Polonius is a controlling patriarch, Ophelia is guided by a wise Maid, the ghost of Joan of Arc, and even a troupe of "Guerrilla Players" who challenge her to question the gendered expectations of her era.

ROBOTICS CLUB @ BC
Aimed at Year 7 and Year 8 students, Birkenhead College is pleased to hold a Robotics Club, from 3.30pm at the school for an hour on Mondays.
The club commences on Monday, March 2, and attendees will be introduced to basic workshop skills, basic C++ language using an Arduino platform, and they will be guided in building a robot of their own.
Sessions finish at the end of Term 2. Costs coverage is $40, which can be paid online or by paying at the school.
