Woolworths futureFERNS  Year 5&6

AIM:

6 v 6 Netball is a fast game and provides players with plenty of ball touches to develop their skill development and overall enjoyment. There are only three positions on court which makes the game less complicated for kids and coaches. This means everyone can learn the relevant skills at a steady pace.

FutureFERNS RULES:

Players are not to be specialised into positions at this level, and should be rotating positions so they learn skills for, and experience them all.  Every player should play a minimum of half a game.

Reminders for all Players:

  • Players fingernails need to be short, and all jewellery removed (exception taped medic alert bracelet)
  •  scores are taken but no result laders
  • "Substitutions can be made during breaks or in case of injury.
  • KIA PAI – Keep it Positive and have fun.
