The Annual Waikato Secondary Schools Mt Biking Championship is usually staged near the end of Term One on the Mountain Bike specific course at Waterworks Park, Te Miro (near Cambridge). Event organiser on behalf of WSSSA is Red Events led by event director Errol Newlands. The championships are for Boys and Girls grades in Junior, Intermediate and Senior divisions for Secondary Schools.
