Hillcrest High School Rowing athletes train at the Hamilton Rowing Club on the banks of the mighty Waikato.
Our rowers and coxswains train at this club, under a team of coaches headed by Alastair Riddle.
Alastair is a highly respected coach within the rowing community, with over 20 years coaching experience. He has had numerous successes at school and club levels and has coached a number of athletes who have gone on to represent their country.
Alastair has completed multiple coaching modules under Sport NZ and Rowing NZ, with his most recent qualification being Performance Coach Advanced (2016).
Alastair is assisted by coaches Scott Pink and Sean Birdling.
