Yachting
Each year HHS enters students into the Burgess Trophy Competition hosted by Hamilton Yacht Club on the Hamilton Lake (Lake Rotoroa). Previous sailing experience is required for this event and we recommend students visit Hamilton Yacht Club to see if yachting interests them. Unfortunately the event has been cancalled this year due to Covid-19.

Fee: $50 per team, reduced to $10 per boat for teams of four boats or fewer

Boats: Open Bic boats are availble for hire from WTYA Youth Development. Some clubs have Optimists for hire. Make enquiries to Mr Elliott. WTYA Youth Development will assess demand and attempt equitable distribution.
