Application for KDPC interclub Show Jumping team

Applications close 30th March 2018 6pm

KDPC requests any and all riders who are capable and have a record card to demonstrate ability in

Show Jumping to apply. Forward any results you may have for show jumping over the past 12 months

or just register your interest. Riders with results will be put forward to teams first.

Conditions of entry:

* Age as at date of competition

* Maximum of two teams per Club for each age group.

(Riders must be financial members of NZPCA)

* Teams are made up of 4 riders in  any one age group.

Riders may ride up an age group if insufficient riders are available;

However riders who ride up in the 17 - 25 year’s age group must be on hacks.

* A combination that has competed at the Cambridge NI Show Jumping competition o r H O Y S J team is not

able to compete in a Team at the Interclub Show Jumping event but may compete as an individual

* A rider shall be eligible to ride in one age group only,

 *If a Team rider has more than one horse entered on the day, they must ride their nominated team horse first.

* In each age group, the riders scoring the highest points shall be awarded Champion and Reserve sashes

* Rules & Regulations for Areas, Clubs & Branches:

Rule 2:19 – Working Rallies, and 2:20 – Attendance at Rallies applies to all team riders.

* All Team Riders may also ride as Individuals at this event.

Entry fee for the individual competition if also a Team Member is $20

* Any rider that did not make a their Club Team or were no eligable may enter as an individual only.

Entry fee for the individual competition if NOT a Team Member is $35

* Teams must be mounted for prize giving on completion of the event

* Team Scoring: Team riders' scores are extracted from the judges' sheets and points are allocated to the top 10 eligible team riders.

1st Round: AM5 *(Article 238. 2.2) (Instant Jump off)

2nd Round: AM5 *(Article 238. 2.2) (Instant Jump off)

Instant Jump Off:

Riders that go clear inside the time STAY in the ring & get a Second Starting Bell to do the

jump off

3rd Round: Accumulator Competition, (refer ESNZ Show jumping Rule Book, Article 26

Team announcement will be posted on 31st March. You will be required to pay $17.50 towards the team

selection. $20 extra if you would like to compete as an individual. Uniform will be issued, hat cover, top,

white jods, black belt, gloves, hair net, saddle blanket, rug.
