Teams are to consist of a minimum of 6 riders, one in each category, with a maximum of 8 riders, two in each category. If your club has insufficient riders and wish to make up a composite team, please advise us accordingly with your entry form. We will endeavor to do our best to meet all the riders’ needs.

Draft riders can be putforward, we require a performance history of the rider/mount combination.  We need to ensure that we are being fair to both riders and teams by providing competitive draft riders so that we are able to maintain a competition at Championship level.  Please refer to our website “Draft Rider Protocol” page for guidelines.

We have retained the venue of Foxton Racecourse, State Highway 1, Foxton.  There will be a catered, 2 course evening meal on the Friday night. The menu will be posted on our website at a later date.  We are pleased to advise that we have a special guest speaker for the Friday evening.

We have secured a top quality New Zealand rider for a demonstration ride on Friday before the practice rounds commence.  This demonstration will be judged by one of our judges.  The demonstration is scheduled to commence at 11am,  with Practice Rounds commencing at 12pm as per normal.

Camping on the grounds at Foxton is available and will be included in the team entry.  Other accommodation in Foxton is limited.

Foxton Racecourse have banned all dogs from the grounds.  As a result of this,  team disqualification will apply to those that break the ban.
