Financial Resources

PSCI relies on yearly membership fees and is decided by the Executive Committee and taken to the AGM for approval.Membership fees go towards paying sports tournaments and competitions outside of the club and allow members to participate in them throughout the year. One of these competitions is the Annual Cook Island Sports Association (ACISA).Membership fees are set between $5.00 - $10.00 for college students and $25.00 - $50.00 for adults.Other forms of financial resources include donations made by members, family and friends, fundraisers and now that the club is an charitable organisation it has meant we are able to apply for grants/donations through companies and were ecstatic when we received our first ever donation of $20,000.00 from The Lion Foundation.

Governance

PSCI is governed by members and any major decisions are made by members, however responsibilities for day-to-day running of the club are handled by the Executive Committee made up of the Officers – President, Vice President, Secretary, Assistant Secretary, Treasurer, Assistant Treasurer, Sports Coordinator as well as the clubs Sub-Committees which are the Finance Committee, Sports Code Committee made up of management teams from each sports codes (Coach, Assistant Coach, Manager/s). Each executive committee member will select one active youth club member to become a trainee. Each managing committee member will be responsible for teaching the youth member all there is to know about their role in the club.
