Selwyn Netball Centre's Walking Netball
Looking for a fun and social way to stay active? Walking Netball is back, and it’s completely free to join! Starting Friday, 31st of January, grab your friends, lace up your sneakers, and enjoy this low-impact version of netball, followed by a cup of tea and a friendly chat.
Details:
- When: Every Friday at 10:30am, starting 31st of January 2025.
- Where: Selwyn Netball Centre, Lincoln – on the outdoor courts (weather dependent).
- Cost: Absolutely no cost to participate!
- Registrations: Essential! Make sure to sign up in advance.
Walking Netball is perfect for anyone aged 18+, providing a gentle yet enjoyable way to stay active without the strain on your joints. Whether you're getting back into exercise, recovering from an injury, or trying netball for the first time, this is for you!
What to Expect:
- A relaxed pace—no running or jumping, making it easy on your body.
- Teams formed on the day—just show up and play!
- A focus on strategy, timing, and teamwork—less about athleticism, more about fun.
- All genders, abilities, and disabilities are welcome.
- After the game, enjoy a cuppa and a chat with like-minded people.

- Open to anyone 18 years and older.
- No uniforms required—bibs are provided.
