This year we have a U16 Emerging Talent programme that runs alongside our U16 Trials. It is recommended any trialist also attend our programme as well as trialing. Please see across registration form for both.
U16 Emerging Talent
This year we are delighted to offer the U16 Emerging Talent programme for all Year 9, 10, 11 and 12 players that would like to build their capabilities, or prepare them for the U16 representative season. Our programme is supported by specialist coaches, NNZ NetballSmart and a diverse range of sessions to optimise the performance of all players. It is our hope that all players wishing to represent Selwyn in the Under 16 representative age group will join our Emerging Talent, however this is not a requirement to be eligible to trial.
U16 Trials
Run alongside our above U16 Emerging Talent programme, we have 3 trial dates to form a A and B team for our season.
To be eligible for our U16 team you need to be under the age of 16 on the 1 January 2023. If you turn 16 on 1 January or thereafter you will need to register for our U18 team. You must also be registered and playing in a Selwyn Netball Centre club.
