U16 Trials
Trialing for a representative netball team is an exciting opportunity to showcase your skills and compete at a higher level. During trials, selectors will observe and assess players based on their performance, including technical ability, game sense, teamwork, and attitude on and off the court. Players will participate in various drills and match play scenarios to demonstrate their strengths. After careful evaluation, selectors will choose the final squad based on their criteria, and successful players will be notified and invited to join the team. Once selected, players will commit to a structured training program, team-building activities, and tournaments to develop their skills further.
Trial one: Sunday 27th April - 10-12pm - Selwyn Sports Centre
Trial two: Sunday 4th May - 10-12pm - Selwyn Sports Centre
To be eligible for our U16 team you need to be under the age of 16 on the 1 January 2025. If you turn 16 on 1 January or thereafter you will need to register for our U18 team. You must also be registered and playing in a Selwyn Netball Centre club.
