Hall Cleaning Information and Duties
There has been a large number of people having to be removed from the roster over the last couple of years for a variety of reasons (mainly resignations). The club is also available for cleaning in the evenings more often now due to Rotary no longer using it on a Tuesday night. It was therefore decided to make it fair on all club members to include full time workers on the roster.
If the week you are rostered on is not suitable, please feel free to swap with someone else. Just change the roster and let Peter know for the Wrong Bias. Copies of the roster and duties are posted both in the hall and on the Women’s noticeboard.
If you do not have a key, one is available at the bar for a deposit. Remember the same key opens the front gate, clubrooms, kitchen and equipment shed. If you are unfamiliar with the alarm, please ask another member for assistance prior to your cleaning week.
Choose a time that suits each one of you – either together or singularly. Cleaning the hall is a 12 month duty not just for the bowls season. Check the wall planner in the hallway for bookings for the week to help you arrange when to do the cleaning.
Please give the clubrooms a good clean at least once a week. More often may be needed on heavy use weeks. All equipment is in the cleaning cupboard next to the Ladies room. You will need to use the larger vacuum cleaner not the small cordless one in the match committee room.
